SAC Foundation is the charitable arm of Cobalt Credit Union and a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are a separate, independent entity operated by our own Board of Directors comprised of Cobalt Credit Union employees. We have a mission to be a steward of economic and social sustainability in the communities we serve.
SAC Foundation’s volunteer outreach and financial giving focuses on two areas:
- Financial education and educational programs that teach financial literacy
- Economic and social programs in support of the military
Cobalt Credit Union has a long-standing commitment to being a community partner that makes an impact through financial giving and volunteer outreach. At the beginning of 2016, a volunteer committee of Cobalt Credit Union employees met with the goal of establishing a charitable arm for the credit union.
